1.1 Information You Provide
Account Information: Name, phone number, email, profile photo, bio.
Contacts (optional): If you grant permission, we access your contacts to help you find people you know.
Messages & Media: Text messages, photos, videos, voice messages, documents, stickers, and other media you send.
Stories: Photos/videos you post as stories and any replies to stories.
Calls: Voice and video call data (call logs, duration, status).
Location (optional): If you share location in chat, we store the location data you send.
1.2 Automatically Collected
Device Information: Device model, OS version, unique identifiers.
Usage Data: App interactions, features used, crashes and performance logs.
Push Notifications Tokens: For FCM/APNs to deliver notifications.
Advertising Data: Advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and basic device/network signals used for ad delivery and measurement.
Purchase Data: Product identifiers, transaction status, and purchase tokens/receipts needed to validate in-app purchases.
1.3 Data from Third Parties
Firebase Services: Authentication, Firestore database, Storage, Cloud Functions, Analytics.
Agora RTC: For voice/video calls.
Ad Partners: Ad networks and mediation partners used to display and measure ads.
App Store Billing Providers: Apple App Store and Google Play for in-app purchase processing.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Enable messaging, calls, and stories
- Store and deliver media and files
- Show you contacts and groups
- Send notifications and alerts
- Display and measure ads (including personalized ads where permitted)
- Process, validate, and restore in-app purchases
- Improve performance and security
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data with:
- Service Providers (e.g., Firebase, Agora)
- Advertising Partners (for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and reporting)
- Billing/Payment Platforms (Apple App Store and Google Play for purchase processing)
- Other Users (messages, profile info, calls, and stories you share)
- Legal Authorities (when required by law or to protect rights/safety)
4. Data Storage & Retention
Messages, media, and stories are stored until deleted by you or removed for legal/security reasons.
Call logs and metadata are retained for functionality and safety.
We may store backups to prevent data loss.

- Read Receipts
- Typing Indicators
- Profile Photo Visibility
- Who Can Message You
- Who Can Add You to Groups
- Story Visibility
- Auto-Download Settings
You may also delete content or request account deletion.
6. Permissions
The app may request access to:
- Contacts (optional)
- Camera & Photos (for media and stories)
- Microphone (for voice calls and voice messages)
- Location (only when you send location)
- Storage (to save media and files)
You can revoke permissions at any time from your device settings.
7. Ads and In-App Purchases
Ads: ConvaLink may display ads. Ad partners may process identifiers and usage signals to deliver, personalize (where allowed), and measure ads.
Your Ad Choices: You can limit personalized advertising through your device settings (for example, iOS “Allow Apps to Request to Track” and Android ad personalization controls).
In-App Purchases: Premium features may be offered as in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by ConvaLink.
Purchase Information: We receive limited purchase metadata needed to activate, validate, and restore your premium access.
Refunds: Refunds are handled under the applicable App Store or Google Play billing policies.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in certain regions).
We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
Your data may be stored and processed in countries outside your own, including where our service providers operate.
